Hi there! My name is Zoei and I am passionate about all things health and fitness, specifically nutrition and the ripple effect it creates and how it spills over into so many other areas of your life. I believe that your personal nutrition can be one of your biggest assets, or something that majorly holds you back despite what might feel like your best efforts…leading to much frustration and possibly, if you’re anything like me, extreme diets that are ultimately not sustainable or healthy in the long term.
We’ve all heard the saying: “You can’t out-train a bad diet”, and it’s true! There is no amount of fitness that can counteract the harm you’re doing if you regularly treat your body like a garbage can via what you choose to put in your body. There have been several different phases or chapters to my own personal nutritional journey. First, I had to totally shift my mindset about food to see it as fuel for my body and honestly as a form of medicine. Then, after being very dialed in and rigid with my nutrition for several months, came the understanding that overly obsessing about every single little nutritional decision I made = mentally unhealthy and an added source of stress. I learned that it’s okay to enjoy life every now and then, which sometimes involves food that has little nutritional value, and that is OKAY (in *moderation*). Those things have shaped my views around nutrition both for myself and for my clients, and I’m SO excited to help you at whatever stage you might be at in your nutritional journey.
Everyone has different goals, different restrictions, different stressors, constraints, responsibilities, different food preferences, different work schedules, etc…the point is: everyone is DIFFERENT and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to nutrition. That’s where you benefit from having a personalized nutrition coach, such as myself :)
No matter what phase you’re at in your health/fitness journey, I am SO excited to be a part of it and to help you not only achieve your goals, but to also define why they are important to you and figure out the best way to get there for YOU.
