What class feels like
A coach walks the room through the day, teaches the movements, helps you choose the right version, and keeps the session moving. You are never left to decode the whiteboard alone.

Program / Group training
Every class follows a plan. Every movement has options. At our Santa Maria CrossFit gym, you will lift, move, learn, sweat, and leave with a little more capacity than you walked in with.
Constantly varied does not mean randomly thrown together.
The useful details
Constantly varied does not mean randomly thrown together.
A coach walks the room through the day, teaches the movements, helps you choose the right version, and keeps the session moving. You are never left to decode the whiteboard alone.
The program develops broad, useful fitness: strength, stamina, balance, coordination, speed, and the confidence to take on hard things.
You do not need experience, and you do not need to get fit first. New Foundations teaches the movements, establishes a baseline, and gives you a calm runway into group classes.
Most sessions move from a coached warm-up into strength or skill work, then conditioning and a cooldown. The parts change; the reason for each part does not.
Most classes run with roughly 10–18 athletes and are capped at 20. That keeps the room lively while leaving space for movement instruction, scaling, and feedback.
Three to five classes per week is common, but the right number depends on your history, sleep, stress, and goal. Coaches help you choose productive days instead of collecting attendance for its own sake.

No. Your coach adjusts loading, movement, range of motion, and intensity to your current ability.
The room trains together, but your target is your own progress. Scaling is normal here—not a consolation prize.
That depends on your goal, recovery, and schedule. Most people start with a repeatable weekly rhythm, then build from there.
