One Life CrossFit May 2026 Recap: Summer Shred Results, NorCal Classic & More
A look back at One Life CrossFit's biggest moments in May 2026, including Summer Shred Challenge results, Memorial Day Murph, NorCal Classic competitors, Hans at the Syndicate Crown, RAD Friday Night Lights, and a preview of what's coming in June and July.

May was an absolute monster of a month at One Life CrossFit. From six weeks of hard-earned body composition results to competition floors across the region, our community showed up, put in the work, and represented with everything they had. Let’s take a look back at everything that made May 2026 one for the books.
Summer Shred Challenge Results
The 2026 Summer Shred Challenge officially wrapped up on May 17 after six weeks of commitment, consistency, and community accountability (the challenge kicked off on April 5). The numbers speak for themselves.
Across all participants, the group lost a combined 139.2 lb of total body weight and 128.5 lb of total fat mass. Even more impressive: 17 participants improved their body-fat percentage, with an average reduction of 3.0 body-fat percentage points per person. Muscle mass was largely preserved throughout, which is exactly the goal.
Our winners were Manny and Monique! They received prizes from Earth Fed Muscle, Tri Muscle Therapy and personal coaching from our great coaches here at One Life CrossFit.

The public leaderboard kept the energy high all six weeks, and the community accountability made all the difference. Huge congratulations to every single person who participated. You put in the work and the results prove it.
RAD Friday Night Lights
On May 22, One Life hosted RAD Friday Night Lights, and it was exactly the kind of event that reminds you why you love this community. Athletes competed, the energy in the gym was electric, and everyone brought their best. Events like this are what make One Life more than just a gym. Shoutout to everyone who came out and threw down!
Hero WOD Murph: Memorial Day
On Memorial Day, May 25, the One Life community came together to honor the fallen heroes who gave everything for this country. The workout: a 1-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and another 1-mile run, all completed wearing a 20 lb vest.
Murph is never easy. It’s not supposed to be. It’s a reminder of the sacrifice made by Lt. Michael Murphy and so many others. The fact that our community showed up, put on the vest, and did the work is something to be incredibly proud of. Thank you to everyone who participated and honored those who gave everything.
NorCal Classic: May 29-31
Several One Life athletes made the trip to compete at the NorCal Classic from May 29-31, and they represented our community with pride on the competition floor. Competing at this level takes dedication, courage, and a whole lot of hard training. We are so proud of each of you.
Our competitors included:
- Shawn Jones and Josh Shaffer (team)
- Jessica Kwong
- Britany Cox
- Vince Sigilo
- Javier Llarena
- Mike Sorenson
And a special shoutout to Shalane Nash, who gave back to the competition community by volunteering at the event. That kind of spirit is what One Life is all about.
Hans at the Syndicate Crown
While the NorCal Classic was happening, Head Coach Hans Koellnberger was competing at the Syndicate Crown from May 29-31. Hans continues to push himself at the highest levels of competition, and watching him represent One Life on that stage is something we never take for granted. We are incredibly proud of you, Hans. Thank you for leading by example every single day.
